UK based Echo Barrier have signed a contract with Dubai based Moov LLC, who will distribute the H series of barriers across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia.
The Echo Barrier ‘H’ series of products are easy to install, light and flexible noise reduction barriers which reduce the amount of unwanted and disruptive noise coming from building sites and events. They have been put to effective use in the UK on construction projects taking place in community areas such as town centres and railway stations.
Peter Wilson, technical director of Echo Barrier said: “Noise abatement and the impact that noise from construction has on neighbouring communities is starting to emerge as a serious consideration in the Middle East. We are sure that there is a considerable market for our barriers and we are pleased to be working closely with Moov Acoustics and benefitting from their experience and knowledge of the Middle Eastern market.”
Echo Barrier systems make noise management simple, fast and highly effective. Barriers are flexible, provide exceptional acoustic performance and are easy to store, transport and fit. They were recently recognised by the Institute of Acoustics and Noise Abatement Society. The partnership is yet more success for the noise reduction experts from Echo Barrier, who have only recently signed a deal to distribute barriers in the US and Canada through Acoustical Surfaces Inc.
Vinayan Nambiar from Moov added: “The provision of acoustic management is becoming more and more important in the Middle East and as experts in the field we knew we wanted to be working with the best noise reduction solution out there. Echo Barrier is without doubt the leader in its field and we are delighted to be representing it in what is a growing and lucrative market.” The Echo Barrier ‘H series’ of noise reduction barriers has undergone some huge growth recently, having been used in the London 2012 Olympic Games and at events such as Cheltenham Races.
The barriers were made available in Australia in 2012, being put to work as part of the maintenance works on the Sydney rail network. In the UK, Echo Barrier works closely with major contractors such as the Murphy Group and Balfour Beatty to reduce the effects of building noise on local communities across the UK.
