Already used by Balfour Beatty on a number of significant construction projects throughout the UK, Echo Barrier’s acoustic barrier systems will now be supplied to the company as part of a bespoke three-tier service package.

The agreement is to include the purchase of the new H2 series barrier system, as well as short term and long term hire for various pre-existing construction site projects.

Echo Barrier is at the forefront of noise-reduction and is becoming internationally recognised for its acoustic barrier technology. Its products are helping construction and high footfall sites to achieve significantly reduced noise issues – benefiting both contractor and nearby communities. Their use also enables contractors to work far later into the evening, while minimising disruption to businesses and residents.

Both firms share a strong sustainability vision.

Peter Wilson, Technical Director for Echo Barrier said: “We have an established relationship with Balfour Beatty and have been proud to have helped support their various projects with our technology over recent years. “This particular deal strengthens that relationship and will see Balfour Beatty’s staff supported by our acoustic consultancy team, who provide help and advice as projects develop and specific regulatory matters arise.”
Echo Barrier offers high tech, market leading solutions for controlling excessive noise. Echo Barrier systems make noise management simple, fast and highly effective. Barriers are flexible, provide exceptional acoustic performance, are easy to store, transport and fit.

They were recently recognised by the Institute of Acoustics and Noise Abatement Society at their annual awards. Echo Barrier also recently announced a deal to become sole supplier to J Murphy & Sons. For more information about Echo Barrier visit www.echobarrier.com
